England: new long distance footpath opens

Britain’s latest long distance walking route, the National Forest Way, is now open. It runs for over 75 miles between the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire and Beacon Hill Country Park in Leicestershire passing through young and ancient woodland, market towns and sites of industrial heritage interest.It has been created through a partnership between the National Forest Company and Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire County, Councils, with support from chartered surveyor and property consultant Fisher German.
