The Saar-Hunsruck trail now it runs all the way to Boppard on the Rhine. This follows the addition of an extra 12 stages covering 190 kilometres, scheduled to be opened this month. The total length is now 408km. The Hunsruck, much of which is rolling, peaceful countryside, lies west of the Rhine.
