Major Lisbon museum reopens

A Lisbon museum housing works from the ancient world alongside European masters and Rene Lalique Glass has reopened after an extensive 18-month renovation. The Calouste Gulbenkian Museum Highlights include a new numismatics room in a space that was previously closed to the public, the restored Assyrian relief and a renovated Lalique room now featuring paintings by Edward Burne-Jones and John Singer Sargent.
